What Is It?
Dock diving is an exciting water sport for dogs where they sprint down a dock and jump into a pool, chasing a toy or simply enjoying the splash. It’s a fantastic way to keep dogs active, confident, and engaged, while sharing a fun, interactive experience with their handler. Perfect for energetic dogs, water lovers, and anyone looking to try something new together.
Do I Need Experience?
Whether you’re interested in pursuing competition or just want a fun and effective way to keep your dog active, our instruction is designed to support all experience levels. We prioritize safety, fun, confidence, and sound technique to create an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for every dog and handler.
Not every dog wants to jump and that’s perfectly okay. If you’re just looking for a safe, controlled space for your dog to swim, we offer that too.
What To Bring?
To make the experience easier and more enjoyable, bring a towel, floating treats (freeze-dried only, no crumbly treats), and your dog’s favorite water toys. You don’t need to get in the pool, but you should expect to get wet, so a towel or change of clothes for yourself is a good idea!
Competition
We are proud to be a K9Wave sanctioned facility, hosting dock diving trials throughout the year. Our 49' pool serves as a premier training space for both competitive teams and newcomers alike. Check out our upcoming events.

30-Minute - First swim with us? One of our Trainers will help you, one-on-one, get your paws wet with an introduction covering dock rules and pool use, helping you and your dog feel comfortable and ready for self-serve swim time. If you have previously participated in any HydroHoundz private lessons, workshops, seminars, or events, the First Dip Orientation is not required.
45-Minute - Improve your dog’s jump, fitness, and overall pool performance with one-on-one, coaching from our experienced trainer. Whether you’re new to the pool or actively competing, you’ll receive expert guidance and personalized training tips to help you and your dog progress.
**Air Retrieve Rig Practice Available**
30-Minute Intervals - We offer dock rental time, for those looking to practice dock diving skills, as well as for clients who simply want to enjoy free swim with their dogs. Pool time is ideal for rehabilitation following injury and for therapeutic swimming for senior dogs.

**REQUIRED - First Dip Orientation is required before entering/booking an Open Dock/Swim Time**
Each Session allows for 2 Dogs & 2 Adults. Additional is $10 per person or dog. Maximum 6 Souls per session. For more souls in a session reach out to us to arrange a group session.
