Helping you embrace and channel your dogs natural instincts.
Helping you embrace and channel your dogs natural instincts.
I started The Canine Hub in 2022, after working in the dog industry in varying capacities for almost 11 years, I decided it was time to make it my “official” career. I have worked in daycares, shelters, leading pack hikes and helping run day-school along with running my own in house boarding for 4 years; both in Vancouver and in Victoria, and now in Armstrong. My focus has been on training specifically for the past 18 months. Shadowing various trainers, both R+ and balanced to fully round out my knowledge as best as I can. My focus is on helping people create lifelong, healthy and happy relationships with their dogs, through channeling and embracing a dogs natural instincts.
My experience from working with my own, as well as clients’ dogs over the years has been that there is no “one method fix all” when it comes to training and a dogs natural make-up will always be the preset to anything you want to accomplish. I always want to help people work with their dog to find the solution that works best for you. Training does not look the same for everybody, and that is the beauty of it!
My husband, Kyle and I have built up this business together since moving to Armstrong and we are so grateful to get to work together in this industry.
…
Our Family - Myself and Kyle both live on property with our daughter Ivy, as well as Kyle’s parents who live in the secondary residence on site. Our dogs - Whiskey, Shelby, Rally, Hermes and our Livestock Guardian Dogs Chief and Rhea, along with our 3 cats - Lyla, Knox, and Fig all also enjoy life on the farm!
The Canine Hub is Licensed, Insured, and Pet First Aid Certified.
Looking forward to working with you!

The Canine Hub is situated just outside the cozy town of Armstrong, BC on a large private property with access to fields, a forest and a creek. This allows our boarding client dogs to have plenty of exercise and stimulation while staying with us, and it allows our training clients to have a private and secure location to learn and practice! We also run a small homestead on site, ask us about taking home some fresh duck or chicken eggs, or saying hello to the goats!
